EARLY K & O ANNIVERSARY 400 DAY TORSION CLOCK in Sherborne, Gloucestershire for sale

Lovely old Keininger and Obergfell standard torsion timepiece Serial No 6931 of early/mid 1920's vintage, with attractive swag dial and early pendulum, all in good original condition. The old glass blown dome has a few nibbles to the base. The clock base has two small cracks to the rear. The dial has some small scratches. Everything else is excellent. The brass-work has been lightly polished and finished with micro-crystalline polish, retaining some of the aged patina. The movement has been carefully disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled dry with graphite lubricant. A new suspension spring has been installed and she is running well and keeping good time. Supplied with a care guide and the original key. Collection welcome. Can deliver or rendezvous up to 30 miles of Sherborne or send by courier.
